Media expert Muncie Daniels must fight for his innocence and life after uncovering a murder deep in the Poconos. Colman Domingo’s first starring role on television. 6 episodes in and there’s still so much to cringe at, the story is its own worst enemy. Unfortunately, the writers have made the characters seem like complete idiots where they make decisions that are just not realistic. From the main characters making decisions that no sane person would ever make, to the police and FBI all doing things that would never happen in real life because they’d all be fired, to all the supporting characters, it really hurts the story as a whole. It’s like watching one of those horror movies where the characters all decide to split up because they don’t want to work together even though there’s an axe-wielding maniac somewhere. I like the premise of the story and the acting, while not great, is okay, but the script is just awful. I’m really having a hard time finishing this.
