Variety reported in January 2023 that director Samuel Theiss was fired from filming after being accused of rape by a crew member

According to French newspaper Libération, the alleged sexual assault occurred after a party with the cast and crew in an apartment on July 1, 2023, halfway through filming. The crew member spent the night in the apartment where the party was held due to being drunk and accused Theiss of raping him in the early hours of the morning.
