Scenario
A detective and a nun investigate a series of gruesome crimes that seem personal, while struggling with personal issues and uncovering a sinister web that raises more questions than answers. Ed Lachlan’s Mustang has the same color and number plate as the Italian company’s car 2WQI332. Nurse Redd: Just thinking about the tremor. The problem with Ryan Murphy is how things drag on. After a few episodes (or seasons), the story becomes overwrought, bloated and drawn out without any real substance. That’s exactly what happens here in this series. After a strong start with a very unique concept, well-written characters and a sense of freshness, Murphy’s need for shocking twists and blatant storytelling choices once again leads to a crowded world where the balance between content and flashy presentation has been lost. I really admire the innovative ideas of the talented Ryan Murphy, but again, he wastes his talent on unnecessarily long stories.
