Scenario
Eva (Odessa Young), a 19th-century widow, is tasked with making an impossible choice when, in the middle of a particularly brutal winter, a ship sinks off the coast of her isolated fishing outpost. Eva and her crew must choose to either save the castaways or survive the winter with the last food left. Faced with the consequences of their choices and racked with guilt, the inhabitants struggle with a growing sense of dread and come to believe that everyone is being punished for their choices.
