Typically, a landman’s job is to negotiate and finalize contracts with landowners with mineral rights to lease those rights to the company they represent Essentially, they manage the land and secure the leases, so they can drill oil and gas. Like a foreman on a construction site, they build out roads ,living quarters for the workers (man-camp), assemble the excavation machinery and drill the well itself especially in remote locations.

Because those characters are AWFUL

It’s extremely cringy and uncomfortable

No 17 year old girl speaks with their father that way. Not only does she not act like a teenager around her father, she looks about 10 years too old to be 17.

Maybe that’s to balance out the creep factor in her lines?

The mother/wife is insufferable and has an attitude that makes me want to skip past her parts. Is there going to be a female character that is actually likeable and doesn’t just act like a sexed up twit?It would be nice because the rest of the show is great.
