However, Sam Mendes’ upcoming Beatles biopic will most likely feature Beatles songs
Scenario
On Thursday, November 9, 1961, a man named Brian walked down a basement staircase in Liverpool and changed the world forever. Like 2023’s Priscilla, Midas Man doesn’t use the Beatles’ music because they didn’t get the rights, but they did use other songs that they managed to get the rights to or that were already in the public domain.
However, I thought Jacob’s performance was excellent
As a huge Beatles fan, I was a bit wary of the film, and I personally know people who worked with Brian Epstein. He captured every little nuance of Brian’s character.
Eddie was fantastic as Brian’s father, Harry
Emily’s performance as Malka was a bit weaker. The film was also well-written and captured Brian’s life well.
The costumes were excellent and reflected Brian’s meticulous taste in fashion
While I think his death and the discovery of his body could have been shown on screen, it would have been more personal. The only disappointment was that John Lennon was much too short.
