Reverend Conte, a prolific expert on the occult and whiskey, accompanies a group of military exiles to a remote South Pacific island to investigate the disappearance of Marine units stationed there in 1944, believed to have been in the hands of the Japanese Imperial Army. Talking to the islanders, they soon discover that the marines have been massacred by a group of werewolves known to most as WEREWOLVES.
